How much does it cost to paint a room or a house?
It depends on the size, the condition of the surfaces and how much prep is needed. We come out, measure, look at the walls or siding, and give you a written estimate for free - no guessing over the phone.
How long does a painting job take?
A typical room is usually one to two days. A full interior or a house exterior can take several days to a couple of weeks depending on size, prep and weather. You get a time frame with your estimate.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No. We move furniture to the middle of the room, cover it and the floors with drop cloths, and put everything back when we are done.
When is the best time to paint the outside of my house?
In Connecticut, exterior painting is usually done from spring through fall, when temperatures stay above about 50 degrees and the weather is dry. We schedule around rain so the paint cures properly.
Do you work on weekends?
Yes. We are available seven days a week, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, including weekends - handy if you need a room painted while you are at work or away.
Can you help me choose colors?
Yes. We can bring swatches, paint samples on the wall, and recommend the right finish for each room - flat, eggshell, satin or semi-gloss.
